Culligan water softener needs filter changed every month at $20 each plus $70 service call. It was installed 10/22/2010!. Can't afford this maintenance:. What more can I say when I have very low water pressure..

Washer, dishwasher, showers are impossible when it takes hours for cycle to run & showers are not very enjoyable when the water pressure just barely runs'.

I am not happy with the Culligan water softener!. Never had this problem when I used Kenmore & I have lived here for 40 years". Replacing unit would not be cost efficient|. This is ridiculous & very annoying:. Don't have anything more to say. 35b2622

Sounds like your whole house sediment filter needs changed, nothing to do with water softener. This is a simple process you should be able to take care of.
