We live in the Dallas, TX area. We bought the water softener for the entire house. We also had the drinking water installation at the sink. A few years ago the softener quit working. They sent a salesman instead of a repairman. We decided not to spend thousands on a new system.

For years the same service man changed our filter for the drinking water. He was very nice but never tried to sell anything. A few years ago they started sending new people every other time. The new techs would say we needed this or that and we bought it. Last year, the guy told us we needed an entire new system!. I have a feeling our regular service guy would not have said that:. He is still with the company so it's quite interesting how they no longer send him to our house.. They just want to sell to us at this point". I guess they think they are not making enough on the service calls.. By the way, it cost $145 for the man to come here, tell me we need a new system, and leave". He did not even bother to change our filter;.

Calls and emails to the company resulted in silence,. Thanks for nothing, Culligan. 35b4554

I am really happy that you have not had any problems. I didn't either, for many years, until they had gotten enough money out of me.
